An important part of protecting open space is getting a good understanding of the planning system.
Wildlife
Impact on wildlife is one area of concern when open spaces are threatened. Unlike open spaces, wildlife has got some measure of statutory (legal) protection. See “Bats and the Law” on our “Useful links and contacts” page.
