Message from Friends of Devonport Park, Plymouth

Hi.

I am the Secretary of a small charity, The Friends of Devonport Park, here in Plymouth. In the wake of the terrible atrocity that has befallen the people of Manchester 5 days ago, I have been asked to enquire whether your organisation is likely to be considering planting a Memorial Garden in honour of the victims.
Our group holds regular community events in our park, throughout the summer and we thought that if such a project was being considered, it would be good to use one of our events (possibly June 28th) to raise funds towards it. I realise that it is quite soon after the tragedy and so there may not yet be anything being planned but, we would appreciate being kept informed.
Our sincere condolences.
Mike Gallagher. Secretary. Friends of Devonport Park
